Message from Founder

Children are the future leaders of our world. Their formative years demand our utmost attention, guidance, and the right socialization to shape the world we all envision. Yet, what do we see today? An alarming rise in abuse, neglect, and poverty especially among children in deprived communities. These challenges threaten not only their future but the future of society as a whole.

I firmly believe that each of us has a role to play in overcoming these challenges. The most powerful tool we possess is education a fundamental human right that must be accessible to all, especially the most vulnerable.

Education is the bedrock of economic and social progress. It sparks critical thinking, preserves culture, builds skills and confidence, and fosters empathy and understanding within communities. And yet, across the globe, I have met children for whom education remains only a distant dream. These young people have faced discrimination, disability, natural disasters, neglect, and poverty barriers that no child should ever have to endure.

I have also met teachers and courageous individuals who work tirelessly to break down these barriers and bring hope where there was once despair. Their dedication inspires me every day.

Even today, nearly 60 million primary-aged children are denied access to education. These are not just statistics; they are real children with hopes, dreams, and untapped potential. Their stories moved me to create Spursbase Foundation, and their resilience continues to drive our mission.

On our journey to make education accessible to the most marginalized children, we have embraced innovative and strategic approaches. We are proving that, even in the most challenging circumstances, it is possible to provide safe, meaningful education. Through dedicated partnerships and creative, multisectoral solutions anchored by unwavering commitment we have already reached over 1,000 children at risk of dropping out or who were out of school entirely. We have supported their families to take bold steps, changing the course of their children’s lives.

For many children in marginalized communities, poverty stands as a wall between them and their dreams. As the saying goes, “The richest place on earth is the cemetery,” because it is filled with people who never had the chance to realize their potential doctors, engineers, writers, and visionaries whose talents were lost to the world.

If we truly want to build a world of inclusion, we must recognize that these children are our children. Their future is our future. Their education is the antidote to the social pandemics of intolerance, inequality, and poverty. If we are to heal the wounds of crisis and division if we truly wish for a better world for all education must be our first priority. To create the change we hope to see, we must place education at the very center.

“Humanity will not overcome the immense challenges we face unless we ensure that children have access to quality education—education that equips them to play their part in the development of our modern world.”

Today, I invite you to join us. Support us in this vital mission. Together, let us unlock the treasure within every child. Let us give them the chance to become the doctors, engineers, artists, and leaders our world so desperately needs. Your support can turn dreams into reality.
